Whatever is created by man, can also be changed by man. And to ensure a future-proof world, change is desperately needed. Dirk is involved in challenges relating to sustainability since 2008. Following his masters degree in history and international relations, sustainability consulting at Squarewise, a start-up in concept development and 4 years at Dutch Circular Economy Consulting firm Copper8, Dirk is now sustainability manager at the Dutch DSO Stedin.
Hans Nooter, Netherlands, 1964, is working as a Senior Advisor CSR and Sustainability at Alliander CSR team. Dutch energy network company Alliander facilitates an open energy market, supports sustainable energy choices and is specialist in complex energy networks and installations and has about 7.000 employees.
Hans is a specialist in transparency, impact and stakeholder engagement. As an experienced specialist he is always looking after ways that shift organizations to the forefront
At the eve of the largescale introduction of smart meters in the Netherlands he was one of the initiators of the Fair Meter Initiative. In order to make sure that digital meters do contribute to a sustainable future he worked closely with experts and stakeholders. Part of this was the Fair Meter tender process. He is responsible for the non-financial part of the organization’s annual integrated report. Which is amongst the leading in the energy industry and ranked first and second position at the 2016 and 2017 Dutch transparency benchmark.
Hans has a background in environmental and political sciences and graduated as specialist in environmental business administration. He is interested in organizational behavior and change processes. He joined the international GRI Electric Utility Sector Supplement Working Group and he is an elected member of the Provincial Council of Overijssel, Netherlands.

Dora is FAIR meter specialist with focus on smart gas metering.
Heading environmental compliance and product sustainability for the smart gas meters installed in Dutch homes, she oversees the material composition of all components – including origin, composition, extraction, compliance and traceability. She also addresses the labour conditions and regulations, under which each component has arisen.
Having a Master in Chemistry with major in Analytics Dora has built her career around quality assurance and used her abilities to ensure trustworthy and reliable products, that do no harm. Her ultimate goal is full circularity in the smart gas meters.
Mojca Markizeti has 20 years of experience in sustainable development practices, strategies, change management. After working within Human Rights Ombudsman of Slovenia, she was leading UNGC network for Slovenia, where she was in the role of consultant for sustainable business strategies for companies as well as consultant for policy makers, government for adopting the 2030 Agenda and implementing SDGs to the country strategy. Mojca is since 2016 Sustainability Manager for Iskraemeco, Smart Metering Solution company who has in 2015 joined the Fair Meter Initiative. For results within SDGs of 2030 Agenda Iskraemeco was chosen among best practices and invited to lecture at the European Forum for a Responsible Economy, 2018; responsible-economy.org/en/.
